Clean, sealed and high-gloss

Comforpox 800 SL Q is the version where appearance counts. The self-levelling layer is supplied in high gloss and gives a clean, modern surface that reflects light, a noticeable difference in halls with limited daylight. The system is fully liquid-tight and resistant to acids and alkalis.

The self-levelling layer can be filled with up to 25 per cent quartz sand without compromising flow and de-aeration, making the layer stronger and the system more economical over larger areas.

What the floor can take

The self-levelling layer has a hardness of more than Shore D80, a compressive strength of more than 65 N/mm2 and a flexural strength of more than 35 N/mm2. Adhesion to concrete is greater than 1.5 N/mm2, with the concrete failing before the floor lets go. In the Taber test with CS10 wheels, wear is approximately 40 mg after 1.000 cycles. The system is classified SR B1.5 AR1 IR4 according to EN 13813, with fire class Efl.

Grip and finish to suit

Where more grip is needed, we add 3 to 5 per cent anti-slip additive to the self-levelling layer. An optional matt or satin polyurethane topcoat also slows yellowing in daylight considerably. Decorative broadcasting with coloured flakes is possible, provided it is finished with a polyurethane topcoat.

What to bear in mind

High gloss shows scratches sooner than a matt finish, so dirt control at the entrance pays off. Direct sunlight discolours the epoxy over time. The floor takes foot traffic 24 hours after application, light loads after 48 hours and full mechanical and chemical loads after 7 days.
