PVC project floors

Project-based PVC floors

PVC project floors are quick to lay and suitable for shops, offices and healthcare facilities.

PVC as a project floor, not a DIY floor

We supply PVC on a project basis: site survey, substrate assessment, preparation, laying and the detailing around thresholds, door frames and skirtings, with a schedule that suits a building in use. The floor is the kind you see in a home furnishing store; the installation is a different discipline.

The versions

  • Mobilis loose-lay, quick to install and replaceable plank by plank.
  • Silentia layered with an integrated sound-reducing backing, for apartments, offices and healthcare.
  • Spica with freely chosen laying patterns such as herringbone and chevron, plus colour blocks and zoning.
  • Terra with a natural wood look.
  • Loose-lay walkway for temporary or changing walking routes.

Why businesses choose it

PVC is laid quickly, can be used immediately, is easy to clean and can be replaced per element. For chain stores, offices and healthcare institutions that can only close briefly, that is often decisive. Where sound matters, a layered construction with a sound-reducing backing achieves what a resin floor only manages with a separate underlay.

The substrate remains decisive

PVC is thin. Unevenness, old adhesive residues and cracks show through in the final result. We therefore assess the substrate beforehand and include the preparation in the estimate, rather than running into it on the day of installation.

When PVC is not the right choice

With heavy point loads, intensive internal vehicle traffic, wet cleaning at high temperatures or chemical exposure, we recommend a resin floor. We say so even when you ask for PVC, because a floor that does not fit costs you money again within a few years.
