With PVC, sound is often the real question

In an apartment, an open-plan office or a healthcare facility, sound rather than wear resistance is the question you will be asked about. Comforvinyl Silentia has a sound-absorbing backing built into the plank. Impact sound is reduced without a separate underlay, which keeps the construction height low.

More comfortable underfoot

The layered construction is not only audible but also tangible: the floor walks softer than a thin bonded PVC floor on a hard substrate.

Over an existing floor

In many cases the system can be laid over an existing floor, saving demolition and disposal. We assess during the survey whether that is possible and what preparation is needed: a level, dry and clean substrate remains the condition.

How we work

We deliver PVC as a project: survey, preparation, laying and the detailing around thresholds, door frames and skirtings. If you have a specific acoustic requirement, for example from a specification or a deed of division, we match the system to it.
