Comforcoat 935 Rapid Recoat Matte

Closed for a day instead of a week

In a shop, showroom or entrance, a floor renovation mainly costs turnover. Comforcoat 935 Rapid Recoat Matte is built for that: every layer cures quickly, so the complete overlay is applied within a day. At 20 °C the coloured coat takes foot traffic after 60 minutes and is fully cured after 3 hours. A space that closes on Sunday can reopen on Monday, where a conventional system needs a week to cure.

Matt, and it stays that way

The finish is matt up to a viewing angle of 85 degrees, so the floor does not mirror under raking light or spotlights. The coloured coat is aliphatic and does not yellow, and the matt topcoat contains UV absorbers. Wear resistance is high: approx. 12 mg for the topcoat in the Taber test with CS17 wheels after 1.000 cycles, which suits heavily walked spaces.

The system is intended for overlaying an existing coated floor, not for bare concrete with major defects.

Hygiene and indoor climate

The topcoat is bacteriostatic, so micro-organisms do not multiply on the surface, and its low VOC content meets AgBB, LEED and BREEAM, with emission class A plus and Emicode EC1 Plus.

What to bear in mind

It is a thin system, so unevenness and dirt inclusions in the substrate remain visible. The floor takes foot traffic 24 hours after the topcoat, light loads after 48 hours and full loads after 7 days. A slip-resistant version is possible.
