QCF Quartz Colour Fine

Completec QCF Fast

Fast-curing quartz composite trowel-applied floor

Completec QCF Fast is a trowel-mark free, trowel-applied floor of coloured granite quartz in approximately 3 to 4 mm, with a fast-curing system. Standard slip resistance of approximately R11 and compliant with the HACCP guideline.

The same quartz floor, in fewer days

Completec QCF Fast is the fast-curing variant within our QCF series. The regulating layer and the trowelled layer are built up with a fast-curing binder and the topcoat takes foot traffic after one hour. For a production area, a wash-up kitchen or a shop that can only stand still for a weekend, that decides whether the work can go ahead.

Why this quartz

The granules are 0.3 to 0.8 mm or 0.8 to 1.2 mm, washed and kiln-dried, and naturally rounded by erosion in river beds rather than crushed. Round granules bond better and give a floor that is less prone to breaking out. Colouring at high temperature with specially developed coatings makes the floor more wear-resistant and colourfast than dyed sand.

Where we apply this

  • Wet production areas and wash-up kitchens
  • Food industry where the HACCP guideline applies
  • Workshops and laboratories with chemical exposure
  • Shops, showrooms and hospitality venues that want a robust floor that looks good
  • Entrances, corridors and stairwells with intensive foot traffic

Appearance and grip

The floor is fully seamless and trowel-mark free, with a standard slip resistance of approximately R11. You choose from the quartz colour collections QCF P with 6 colours and QCF S with 39 colours. In use the floor takes on a matt appearance. The clear topcoat is UV-resistant and resists many chemicals well.

Choosing within the QCF series

  • Completec QCF epoxy-based with a normal lead time. The most economical route when the schedule allows.
  • Completec QCF Fast, this system: a fast-curing system with an MMA topcoat that takes foot traffic after one hour. Made for a weekend.
  • Comforcon QCF entirely MMA-based, with every layer taking foot traffic after one hour. For a kitchen or line that can only close between closing time and the morning shift.

What to bear in mind

Do not use hot water: it can turn the topcoat white and cause cracking with prolonged exposure, so we always drain hot water via gullies. The trowel-applied floor follows the substrate, so missing falls are adjusted in consultation. A strong odour is released while the topcoat is applied; we inform staff in advance and provide extraction.
