Completec QCF

The epoxy version of our quartz floor

Completec QCF is built up with an epoxy binder and has a normal lead time. If your space can close for a few days, this is the most economical choice within the QCF series, with a slightly finer and smoother topcoat than the MMA version.

The floor is applied fully seamless and trowel-mark free in 3 to 4 mm, with a standard slip resistance of approximately R11 and in line with the HACCP guideline. It resists moisture, chemical exposure, wear, pressure, impact and scratching.

Why this quartz

The granules of 0.3 to 0.8 mm or 0.8 to 1.2 mm are washed and kiln-dried, and naturally rounded over millions of years by erosion in river beds rather than crushed. Round granules bond better in the binder, so the floor is less prone to breaking out under impact and wear. Colouring at high temperature with specially developed coatings gives a more wear-resistant and colourfast result than dyed sand.

Choosing within the QCF series

• Completec QCF epoxy-based, normal lead time. The choice when the schedule allows.
• Completec QCF Fast with a fast-curing system in which the topcoat takes foot traffic after one hour. For a weekend.
• Comforcon QCF entirely MMA-based, every layer takes foot traffic after one hour. For a space that can only close at night, with a penetrating odour during the work as the trade-off.

What to bear in mind

The trowel-applied floor follows the contours of the substrate. Where falls are missing or insufficient, we adjust them in consultation. Sunlight or chemical exposure may cause slight discolouration, which does not affect performance. In use the floor takes on a matt appearance.
