Where hygiene, moisture and chemicals meet

Quartzline PU CEM SL is a four-component polyurethane cement system applied as a self-levelling floor. The result is smooth, dense and fully seamless, for areas that are cleaned intensively every day and where no joint or pore may hold residue.

The system withstands acids, alkalis, salts, solvents, mineral oils, fuels and brake fluids, and resists thermal shock and hot-water loads. That makes it suitable for the food industry, the chemical sector and the pharmaceutical industry.

What the floor withstands

The system has a hardness of more than Shore D80, a compressive strength of more than 50 N/mm2 and an adhesion strength of more than 1.5 N/mm2 with concrete failure. The floor is non-porous, liquid-tight and easy to clean, with high resistance to pressure, impact and wear.

Back in production quickly

At 20 °C the floor takes foot traffic after approx. 12 hours and is fully cured after approx. 24 hours. For a production environment that can only stop briefly, that is often decisive.

Smooth or textured

This system has a smooth finish. Where the area is permanently wet or oil and grease are handled, Quartzline PU CEM TF with a broadcast R11 anti-slip finish is the right choice. We assess this per room, and often per zone within the same hall.

What to bear in mind

The binder is aromatic, so prolonged UV exposure can cause discolouration. This does not affect technical performance, but in areas with much daylight we point it out in advance.
