Not every parking facility needs a deck coating

A bicycle store, a storeroom or a plant room does not see braking cars, so a full car park deck system is over-specified there. Comforpark Eco gives the same seamless, easily cleaned floor with a slip-resistant texture, at a considerably lower investment.

Grip from the broadcast

The base layer is fully broadcast with selected quartz while wet. After curing we remove the excess sand and seal the whole with a wear-resistant topcoat, leaving a textured surface that gives grip to wet shoes and bicycle tyres and mechanically reinforces the floor.

The finish bonds to concrete at more than 1.5 N/mm2, is classified AR1 for wear resistance and IR4 for impact resistance, and resists plasticisers from tyres.

What to bear in mind

This system is intended for light to medium mechanical loads; for heavy motorised traffic, ramps and areas with turning wheels we recommend a heavier system. The floor lasts longer if sand, gravel and road salt are removed regularly, as they act as abrasives. It takes foot traffic 24 hours after the finishing layer and full loads after 7 days.
