Potato processor, the Netherlands
Approx. 950 m² of Ucrete BC4 polyurethane cement in yellow across production lines, washing areas and machine foundations at a large potato processor, installed in phases.
For a large potato processor we renewed a total of approximately 950 m² of flooring over several projects: production lines, washing areas, machine foundations and the zones around racking and stairs. All areas were finished in Ucrete BC4 in yellow, a polyurethane cement of 4 mm nominal thickness with a defined slip-resistant profile (R11).
The floor lies in areas that are cleaned wet and hot every day, where starch, fat and high temperatures come together. Ucrete BC4 withstands that thermal and chemical load and can be loaded again after 24 hours, which kept the downtime per phase to a minimum.
- Connections to columns, machine feet and drains finished all round
- Coved skirtings along the walls for a cleanable transition
- Installed in phases around running production
